Alvin Claypool is an experienced Senior HR Business Partner at Remai Modern. Born in Prince Albert, he currently resides in Saskatoon with his life partner, Padget. With 24 years of HR experience, Alvin is a trusted and respected professional in his field. 

During his time at Remai Modern, Alvin has spearheaded important human resources projects including launching an online training portal for staff, updating and expanding the museum’s employee handbook, and creating a more streamlined employee performance review plan. He collaborates with all museum departments, offering essential support related to job descriptions, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and more.

Prior to joining Remai Modern, Alvin spent six years administering the job evaluation and compensation program for the City of Saskatoon. He also has four years of experience in talent acquisition and ten years of general HR experience in the manufacturing industry.
