Winter’s Bone
This December, Cinema at the Museum presents a series of films that use winter as a setting for togetherness, love, isolation, and survival. This series showcases a variety of stories that are confined within the cold and encapsulating influence of the winter, all through the language of cinema.
After discovering her father put their house up for his bail bond and then disappeared, 17-year-old Ree Dolly must confront the local criminal underworld and the harsh Ozark wilderness in order to to track down her father and save her family.
