Four Seasons of the Moon

In 2023, the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra (SSO) teamed up with renowned installation artist Luke Jerram to present the first-ever concert under the artist’s Museum of the Moon. Featuring the Recomposed Four Seasons, the concert film captures music perfectly paired with a large-scale moon sculpture, floating in St John’s Cathedral, one of the most beautiful buildings on the prairies.

The SSO first launched streaming of their concerts during the 2020 lockdown. Since then more than 600,000 people in 57 countries have experienced SSO streaming performances. Having garnered a reputation of innovation and remarkable programming, the SSO’s 93rd season was its biggest and best yet. This community screening is a previously recorded performance and is presented in partnership with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. This screening is free and open to the public.
