Pianist Meagan Milatz returned back home to the prairies on March 29, 2025 to help celebrate composer David L. McIntyre’s 75th birthday with a performance of his Concerto for Piano and Orchestra (“Vickers”). Led by Maestra Tania Miller, the SSO finished their mainstage series with Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, Op. 95 (“New World”) on May 2, 2025.

The SSO first launched streaming of their concerts during the 2020 lockdown. Since then more than 600,000 people in 57 countries have experienced SSO streaming performances. Having garnered a reputation of innovation and remarkable programming, the SSO’s 94th season was its biggest and best yet. This community screening is a previously recorded performance and is presented in partnership with the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. This screening is free and open to the public.
