Field / Studio: Winter Botanicals

Meet in the atrium for an outdoor walk, followed by refreshments and artmaking in the Level 3 galleria.

Remai Modern, Hearth and the Meewasin Valley Authority are pleased to partner on this member-exclusive event that combines urban ecology, cold-weather culinary comforts, and a seasonal still life painting workshop.

Field / Studio includes:

• 30-minute winter walk to learn about our urban forest and the surprising ways it remains active throughout the winter
• Beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic option) and snacks from Hearth that incorporate local winter ingredients
• Watercolour still life painting workshop
  

Please dress appropriately for the weather, including proper footwear for a winter trail walk. The walk will be approximately one kilometre roundtrip.
