Throughout March, Remai Modern presents In Focus: Kelly Reichardt, a survey series of films by the director who is acclaimed for her depiction of Americana.
Reichardt is a fixture of American independent cinema. Her attention to simple exchanges, intimacy and landscape, along with her patient style of filmmaking have made career highlights such as Wendy and Lucy (2008), Certain Women (2016), First Cow (2019), and Showing Up (2022) shine for their sincere depiction of ordinary situations that are anything but mundane.
