Métis Market

Join us for the Métis Market on Saturday June 20. Located on the first floor in the atrium, this vibrant market showcases local artisans offering handmade items and original artworks. Live performances and workshops will be presented from 11 AM – 2 PM as you browse unique, one-of-a-kind creations and thoughtful gifts while supporting local artisans and makers.

Admission is free, and no tickets are required.

Event Schedule:
11 AM: Davika Ironbow will perform a Jingle Dress Dance, followed by a presentation on the history and significance of the dance.

12 PM: Everyone is welcome to join Lady Métis (LaLayne Martel) through active education as she presents information on the history, culture, and facts about the Métis Sash & how they are made, including the opportunity to try fingerweaving-a traditional Métis sash weaving technique!

2 PM: Davika Ironbow will perform Fancy Shawl, followed by a presentation on the history and significance of the dance.
