Kapwani Kiwanga: Remediation Panel
Kapwani Kiwanga’s exhibition Remediation explores the relationship between humans and the natural environment, navigating tensions between toxicity and regeneration. She underscores the importance of nature’s role in determining the course of history—not only through evolution, but through nature’s ever-shifting response to human intervention.
Remai Modern has gathered a panel of experts to discuss these themes. Aileen Burns & Johan Lundh, Remai Modern’s Co-Executive Director & CEOs will be joined by Katherine Stewart, Associate Professor, University of Saskatchewan Department of Soil Science; and Graham Strickert, Associate Professor, U of S School of Environment and Sustainability. Kiwanga will join the conversation via Zoom.
Free with membership or admission by donation.
