Shelley Niro: 500 Year Itch
**"A triptych of three artworks: On the left, a colorful artwork features a mask-like face split into two contrasting halves—one in bright yellows and oranges, the other in deep blues and purples. The word 'TOROS' is written in large letters at the bottom, suggesting a theme of bullfighting. In the center, a black-and-white artwork shows an abstract depiction of a kneeling nude figure surrounded by intricate, patterned shapes. The bold, expressive lines emphasize the human form and its movement. On the right, a minimalist artwork features a bright yellow background with a metallic-looking flagpole and a flag. Nancy Lowry: Colour in Place
A contemporary art gallery installation with a variety of framed artworks displayed on a white wall, arranged in a salon-style format. The artworks include abstract and representational pieces in different mediums. Blue metal step ladders are positioned in the space, and overhead, large translucent fabric panels with abstract designs are suspended from the ceiling. A sculptural table on silver legs displays a collection of objects and materials. The room features wooden flooring and soft ambient lighting.

Remai Modern was designed for transformative experiences.

Artworks are sited throughout the building, responding to the unique architecture, environment and Prairie light. These installations explore scale and perception, animating the museum’s interstitial spaces.
